Career Opportunities
The Occupational Science degree allows an opportunity for students who hold an associate degree in occupational therapy or physical therapy to advance their practice-based skills and knowledge at the bachelor’s level and/or as a pathway to graduate studies.
The degree provides advanced practice recognition for occupational therapy assistants and physical therapist assistants at the bachelor’s level, as well as offering occupational therapy and physical therapist assistant associate degree students a pathway to graduate studies in occupational therapy, physical therapy, health sciences, management, and/or education.
Graduate Studies
Students who earn a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Science may choose to pursue graduate work in occupational therapy, physical therapy, management and/or another related degree at Penn State.
